We were planning on going to another restaurant but did not like the 'welcome'. So we're really glad we went to the Hilal. We were welcomed very warmly even though they were very busy. The food was great and the service was always with a smile. Will definitely go back.

Went to the Hilal Restaurant for our Christmas meal. I go to the Curry Mile in Manchester regularly but the food at the Hilal is much better. You can tell that the food is cooked freshly. I had Lamb Chops as stater and South Indian garlic Chillie Chicken as the main meal. The service was also very good. No wonder my friends go there regularly.

You can't beat this Indian. Locally they have been part of the local village for years and still deliver the best food and service despite other newer competition.

The Hilal is our Indian restaurant of choice for the simple reason that the food is excellent, it's often good value and the staff are attentive and very very friendly. We enjoy every visit which often. We've tried each of the other Indian's in Stockton Heath once, that says it all really!

We have been visiting the Hilal in Timperley for many years...we travel 26 miles to this restaurant, as it is the best indian food for miles. The food and service is always excellent. Wish they would open a restaurant nearer !

We had a really spectacular Ghar Ka Khana (Home Cooked Meal) on 29th August. Will definitely attend next time when they have Khar Ka Khana again. Would avice others not to miss the next Khar Ka Khana evening. Hilal -when are you having the next Khar Ka Khana?

I have eaten at the Hilal in Stockton Heath many times over thirty years. The food is excellent and the staff are really professional and friendly. You are really looked after. The choice and standard of food for vegetarians is outstanding. It is my favourite restaurant - and I am a fussy eater! Well done the Hilal

Brilliant food, service seems to be getting even better. Great ambience, great night out.

Great food and service. The Lamb Chops starters were really very tasty. As a main meal I chose South Indian Garlic Chillie Chichen and my husband chose Harrey Masaley Jinghe. Never tried these dishes before. Really happy with these dishes they were really different from the traditional dishes. Would recommend others.

We have been coming to the Hilal for 40 years this year.Our first dining experince was at the Timperley branch. The food and service has always been excellent. Enjoyed the meal today again at the Stockton Heath branch. Well done.

I have been going into the Hilal since it opened, although it had been some time since I last went in. A group of twelve of us ate there last week and it was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was great, considering the size of the party. Although it has been modernised, it has not lost its character and it won't be long before I go again.

I took my daughter along for the first time because there was 20% off. I had king prawn jalfrezi with pilau rice and it was the best I've ever had; we will most definitely go again when there is another offer on.

Everything about our experience of this restaurant was excellent. Despite being the first in the restaurant on a Saturday evening (at 5:30!!) we were made to feel welcome. The waiter was really friendly and gave me some recommendations from the menu.

I had a Karahi, the Ms a Madras. The chicken was proper chicken breast, the portions were large, naan - soft and fluffy, even the chips were delicious and handcut!

All around an excellent meal. We'll be back soon!

Went to the Hilal at Stockton Heath with five of my friends. Really enjoyed the meal and the service. We chose the new items from the new menu. Would recommend others to choose Achari Gosht and South Indian Garlic Chicken. We hope to visit the restaurant in the new year again.

What a lovely place! My collegue and I were looking for somewhere for our Christmas night out and we found it in the Hilal. We couldn't fault the service, the food or the atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone and will definately be returning!

I came here to celebrate my 30th birthday. There were 24 of us in the "function" room upstairs. The food was gorgeous and the service excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone - superb. I shall be eating here again!

Finally - How nice to have a lovely restaurant in the village, it has been long awaited. 8 of us at at the Hilal and the food was wonderful. The staff were helpful, polite and it really is like a brand new restaurant. We have recommended to friends who have already been and emjoyed it as much as us. We will be returning on a regular basis.

We went to the Hilal after a long time. We were all glad to find out that the food quality is back to its original high standard. All of us enjoyed the meal and we received personal attention from the owner. We hope to go there again very soon.

I went for a meal at the Hilal last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious as always, just what you would expect from the Hilal. The service was also great, much better than some of the other Indian restaurants I've been to. I would most definitely go back again.

We order take-out from the Hilal every week and have eaten in a few times too. It is OUTSTANDING. The recntly introduced Indian BBQ is really great. The owners claim, they are the first to offer freshly marinated Indian BBQ. We ordered some BBQ stuff for our BBQ party last week. All the items were very well marinated. What we most liked are the Lamb Chops. Very good value for money.

Went to the restaurant yesterday after a long time.We really enjoyed the meal.It was great to find out that the Hilal has not lowered it's standard.

Given the amazing variety of different cuisines in Stockton Heath, we don't get to the Hilal as often as we would like. However, when we do, you can almost guarantee fabulous food, great service and a brillant evening. Saturday was no exception.

A few friends decided to try the food at the Hilal Restaurant, as it was highly recommended by an office colleague. The food was great and the service was lovely. The waiters were very jovial.

The christamas decorations were very traditional and the background christmas music helped us to enjoy the meal.

I went to the restaurant with my family on Saturday to celebrate my 13th birthday. We all enjoyed the evening. The waiters brought some balloons and a cake for my birthday (the cake was from the local supermarket). It was a really nice gesture. I felt a little embarrassed when all the other diners joined with the waiters to sing happy birthday. Would recommend the restaurant.

Went to the Hilal last night after a long time. We enjoyed the meal. The background Indian music was enjoyable. The only problem is they close early, 11.00pm.

Undoubtedly The Hilal is one of the finest restaurants in the area, with its exquisite food and excellent ambiance. My family and I have been dining at the Hilal for many years and the service has been exceptional on each and every occasion. This ideal combination makes The Hilal the perfect choice for every occasion, whether it be a birthday celebration or just a quiet night with the family.

As an Indian, I have to admit that the food at The Hilal is exceptional. Each dish is clearly cooked with authentic fresh Indian spices, making it by far one of the best “Indian” meals that I have tasted. However, not only is the food a delight to the palette, but the first-rate service and relaxed atmosphere makes The Hilal an indisputable fine-dining experience.

Top class food every time, but service with a smile would be appreciated.

We have been going to the old and new Hilal since it opened. The food is always excellent and last night was no exception. However, in a near empty restaurant [it was before 5.30!] the service whilst polite and curteous [again it always is] was exceptionally slow. It is no wonder many restaurants are empty early evening if they don't offer price incentives and 'normal' service. This is not just a problem at the Hilal.

I live in Manchester but went to the Hilal after work last Friday with some friends from work. The food is better than any of the foods that I had in Rusholme in Manchester. The service was good but the price is more than the average Manchester price. The only problem is they close at 12.00 o'clock. Would recommend to friends.

Excellent food made with quality ingredients, delivered with efficient service. Prices are higher than average but the worth the extra expense. Definitely the best Indian in the Warrington area.
